When I drew this Zentangle I saw a shoe within the strings...So here are my thoughts this morning on my appreciation for MY SHOES!
I have traveled 60 years in my shoes...and although there have been some hills and caves I would not trade my shoes for another pair. I have learned a great deal about myself because of the different paths I have gone down in my shoes...I have learned lessons...and have taken detours that took me nowhere...
The shoes are worn in places bringing me a comfort of familiarity...they still pinch my toes when I am traveling unknown paths bringing an uncomfortable feeling, which I know will pass as long as I continue to break them in.
These are my shoes...no one else can travel in them but me. They have served me well over the years and although at the moment they feel a bit new on this road...I will continue to travel...I will continue to move forward slowly and carefully...I will continue to appreciate each and every step they provide me.
